Sara R. Massey is an educational specialist with the Institute of Texas Cultures developing instructional materials and web sites for Teachers of Texas history. She has a doctorate in curriculum and instruction and degrees in American history, counseling, home economics, and secondary education. She has been an associate professor at Incarnate Word College, University of Southern Maine, and the University of Hartford. She has spent the past ten years on education on the Hopi Indian Reservation in Arizona.
